The sizes indicated above are based on your height, if your height is right between two sizes we suggest you should go for a kit that might be a bit loose rather than tight. The kit will also shrink a bit if needed – just boil wash and tumble dry it a couple of times.

We don’t mind where you get your kits from and we are happy to advise. You can purchase kits a little more cheaply at Blitz Sport, Fighting Films or on Amazon – try to avoid too light a material though as they may rip during randori so look for the above listed weights (gsm) relative to your height and ensure it is a plain white Judo kit (not karate or similar) with no shoulder stripes as the BJC don’t allow them at their events.
